It was interesting to see Luke Covell make an appearence on the weekend for Cronulla. He played against Wentworthville to previous week and came through OK.

Following successful LARS surgery on his ACL injury he appeared to have a pretty solid return.

I know what has been said about Tim Moltzen's injury and the fact that he didn't want to risk the surgery, but how good would it have been to have him back now at this time of the season. It may well be that Covell has set the precedent for this type of injury.

I just found it interesting as to how well he came back…..and he hasn't lost any of his pace also.....

He wasn't really quick enough to lose any pace. Good on him though, there was nothing to lose for him as he is coming to the end of his career anyway.

We still don't know the long term repercussions of the surgery though. Has any of the AFL players who've had this done had any complications or suffered another ACL injury since undergoing the procedure?
