THE NRL's most durable forward, Luke Douglas, has quit the Cronulla Sharks to sign a three-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.
The rangy prop, who has played well over 100 games straight in the NRL, agreed to terms yesterday.

He will be taking a pay cut from his current $350,000-a-year deal with the Sharks.

He will join the Titans at the end of the season.

Looks like Cronulla will loose both there props next year, this means theyll have plenty of money to spend (I hope we sign Fifita quickly).

So we could've gotten one of the best props in the game, for <350k.

It's alright, the Windsor Wolves still have some super buys in them...

A good pick up for the Titans, not a devastating front rower but any front rower who does a good job going forward, can play 80 minutes and make up to 40 tackles a game is a top player.

Maybe the Tigers should look at what he does with preparation and recovery to see how he can play over 100 games straight yet Galloway and Payten get struck with injuries fairly regularly.

wow, all attention has been on snowden possibly going….this could seriously dent our chances of keeping fifita. sure hope we keep him now.

We'll find it tough to keep Fifita now. The Sharks will offer more and a starting spot pretty much guaranteed.

If he goes there, he will feel unfulfilled and disappointed just like Blake Ferguson.
Play to win, which you won't see happen with the sharks.

Couldn't hurt, except I think Douglas is rare in that he is built tougher than a coffin nail.
