MY GOD!!!.... If we are relying on Denni Burgess to make decisions for us, I am giving up now.... It's almost laughable that the Tele contacted them for the names and they wouldn't release them.... Are they embarrassed?

People only make decisions within the structure they operate. Explain to me how these 10 people can make a decision?

At least 6 of them won't be on the board going forward and of the 4 remaining, 2 of them will have no vote. You could have God on that list of names, but the current governance structure would still mean the same outcomes would be produced.

Whilst our board structure needs tweaking.What exactly have they done wrong individually or as a group.Please give instances.

- How does Signing Tim Sheens for 3 years and sacking him after 1 sound?
- Or how bout calling a board meeting to sack the coach ON GAME DAY whilst our season is on the line (Just a couple to kick things off)

Now, How bout you tell me what they are doing right?

For every 1 you give me I'll negate you twice....
Having met more than a few of them, More than a few times...
And had business dealings with at least one of them, I wouldn't trust them to run my company, And I'm a far cry a national multi million dollar franchise!!

You obviously missed Denni's performance at Campbelltown a few weeks back?, What the hell is a current board member doing parading in front of a rock band on game day screeching like he's gargling hot lava?

Don't know poor old Dennis Burgess but you obviously have it in for him! :laughing:
Maybe he was singing because…. he's a singer (among other things)

Sing is that what you call it ..he was the tool with the wig and dressed like a 20 year old but is actually 60 performing at the 15 yr Campbelltown game ….we all heard Meatloaf at the Afl grand final well Mr Meat sounds like Pavarotti compared to this bloke.
 
And his brother was in the Masters Apprentices' for a long while….
So what!!

He's a board member that made a fool of himself at a home game in front of 000's of fans!!
Poor form I say!!
 
So … because you and snake don't like his voice he should be be put in stocks and have rotten fruit hurled at him?

Wow ….. what a distinguished group this is. It really gives one all the reassurance needed to know our great club is in the best possible hands ........ :unamused:
All passionate and well intended I'm sure ....... but fully equipped and credentialled to handle a multi million dollar organisation I am afraid they are not. The sooner this lot are outvoted by an independant group the better.

Who cares, he wasn't hurting anyone, get over it. I'd rather have a board member making a fool of himself like that than having a board member charged with embezzling money or caught with kiddie porn or something. Yeah, it was embarrassing, but why you'd be getting aggressive about it is very strange.
 
Having fun singing at home game isnt even embarrassing, it is a nothing moment in the scheme of anything.

I have no idea if these people have the necessary skills to perform the role.

Mind you, most football boards are full of jobs for the boys cnadidates and fan boys who operate sanely in most areas of life but lose perspective when it comes to football.

I'm wondering why the future of the club is in the hands of these guys?

If I were a sponsor, Or corporately involved with the club... And the Board members put themselves in that position in front of me the first thing I would do is obviously write them an open cheque.

The Wests fossils don't want Luibinskis in charge of 4th grade, But yet he's on the board for the whole operation.
Garry Leo is a lovely bloke far from an astute businessman.
I'm not sure why you can't see what the problem is, One of the guys running the club is dressed like a gay Pirate, Screaming at our members, Dancing around like he's been at Stereo on Acid for 4 days. YEP!! That's the kind of guy I want running the club.
And TBH I didn't know Denni was on the board until this morning, Everyone knows he's an old school Wests Guy (A Flamboyant one at that) And he is well known and quite popular because he's not a bad guy...
BUT Nice guys are the guys you invite for a beer and a barbeque.... Not to run business on such a large scale!!
 
He's probably good at what he does….
If Denni was good, I would have a differing opinion.

- Still waiting for someone to tell me what Skill Set any of the mentioned Board Members bring to the Franchise,
And why we should trust them with control of the club.

ESPECIALLY when one of them has told me with his own lips he hates Wests Tigers with a passion!!....
But he's on the board. WOW!!
 
This is pointless, the board composition is about to change, let's revisit when we have the new board in place.
 
In fairness to them, they hold an honoury position and dont receive a directors fee.
Hence why its hard to find new directors and hence why we dont have quality people at the top tier of the hierarchy.
