And it will be a Manly v Bulldogs GF
So they can promote the Old Lion v Young Lion thing with Toovey And Hasler
Bet some really strange calls go against Melbourne like the Cowboys game ( Unless they can't contrive a result because Melbourne are blowing them out of the water )
Two trained refs cannot get those calls wrong , seriously
Our game is a rort in my opinion (virtually no different than WWE) and the only thing keeping my interest in the game is my love for the Tigers

That Foran blatant knock-on that was missed was a joke. Don't even bother with the video ref if the tosser in the box is under instructions to favour this team or that.
Sick of seeing games decided by crap decisions, regardless of who is playing. Let the better team win, not whoever the refs favour

If its a manly - dogs grand final I won't even turn the tv on to watch it.
On the referees.
It's beyond belief that professional referees can get something's so wrong so often. There's only two possible explanations.
1\. Incompetence. I struggle to understand how these blokes are full time, professional students of the game and still come up with these ridiculous decisions. Every single person apart from manly fans that watched the game will tell you that was a no try.
2\. Corruption. If they aren't incompetent then they are cheating! I know it sounds absurd but it's the only other possible explanation. Either that or there is a different set of rules that haven't been disclosed to anyone else.
If the nrl are manufacturing results then I'll walk away from the game. I find it incredible that we are even mentioning and seriously discussing this, but based on the evidence on offer it is a definate possibility. I really think or rather hope this is not the case and they are simply incompetent fools who are never really held to account.
If there are not cheating then people need to be sacked, not stood down for a week but sacked, gone, released.
Either way they are destroying our game. To me it's the biggest issue in rugby league right now.

I think the Storm will make it. They were clinical against Souths and they aren't going to blow it at this stage again.
As for the OP, I hate both of them, but really it's up to the other 14 clubs to lift to their level if we want to see someone different.

I thought the EXACT SAME THING when I went to watch the Titans v Panthers game in Rd 25 I think....
Being perfectly nuetral in standing, I found that:
for the first 20 minutes, It was nlike the Refs didn't want penrith to win it...
Pulling up passes, Dissallowing tries... Penalties, You name it, It went against them!!
It was only when Penrith really started to get away the Refs couldn't do much.
Then i thought outside the box... Titans were still a shot at the 8, Penrith were in a battle to avoid the spoon...
Had the game gone the other way, I'm sure it would have been a win / win for the NRL in terms of ratings etc....
Sometimes it's hard to believe there isnt any alterior motive!!
Farah's disallowed try against the Dogs for instance.... How many shotty Benefit of the Doubt Tries we seen since???

If the refs are manufacturing the game, then I don't see how putting teams like Manly and Melbourne in the finals year after year is helping promote the game.
For example, I don't follow AFL - I don't like the game, but i do look at the results every week (nothing else to read in the paper except sport) and if I was to ever change to AFL or start following it, seeing different teams exceed each year would get me interested.
After seeing Collingwood at the top for years, it's like "what's new?" and even in the game I supposedly **loved** - watching Melbourne win for years, at the top of the table, it get's old and when they experienced their mid season slump, I was honestly a little excited by that. To see clubs like Rabbits, Sharks, Raiders finally reach the finals, teams that have struggled previous years, it's a fresh revelation and I hoped to see a Raiders v Sharks (or Rabbits) grand final.
And I'm not saying I don't like seeing teams exceed every year cause if it was the Tigers, I wouldn't be complaining. But for the game to be so corrupt that they need to change the results to draw in more "fans" or "viewers" is an absolute riot.
