Marika oh Marika

I like the basic idea ..our backline is slow. We are not winning games so if the Coach wants to try young Fast players , I am for it..he has to find His players for His team..give it a go..

i think he might push tedesco back to the state cup tbh

the only question is whether he persists with lawrence or not

Lawrence ain't going anywhere yet unless his injury is a concern.

Lawrence's defence has always been a bit of a problem but there was a time in 2010-2011 that the way the game was refereed coincided with him getting the timing right on his rush front on defence and he became an effective defender. The rise in second man play has simply opened up old issues with his lateral movement which would be compounded by the hip dislocation and subsequent lack of speed.

He is one of the hardest working men in rugby league and I am sure he is studying footage and practicing daily to rectify this so you should all have a bit more faith in one of our best EVER players.

As for his attack, he may have lost top end pace but he still hits the line harder than most other players in the game and his speed off the mark is still very good from what I saw against St George. I guarantee if you ask defenders marking him he is not a player you want to sleep on because he has too much power and speed off the mark and will break through a weak attempt.

He still has plenty to offer but now that he seemingly lost his top end he should probably work on a late offload and a fend and his passing game. His ability to get through the line should down the line lead to plenty of tries for Koroibete.

You should all support this bloke. He's been great for us and always puts in and he bleeds our colours.

Moltzen ahead of Lawrence in the backline….is this a gee up?

Which is very silly. Lawrence does not deserve to be dropped yet. Hell I'd give him a whole season. The guy deserves to be given a chance to adapt his game in first grade.

He will be much better with Koroibete outside him instead of Tedesco and Moltzen swapping around all the time. Give them time to develop a defensive and offensive combination and it'll be insane. I took the piss in an earlier post but Koroibete will make so much difference to our side. He makes it so hard to score long range tries on us and that plus his kick returns alone will have us stronger, not to mention as a runner and a target. He's a massive inclusion and will be great for Lawrence.

Mac I understand what you are saying , but the longer we hold onto Rowdy the less he will be worth on the open market if and when we decide to let him go

Unfortunately he had a full off season to work on things and it appears he has gone backwards if anything

The only suggestion I have is possible to send him to a sprint coach to get the speed back and drop a couple of kilos

The benefits he would get with his speed back far outweigh the benefits of the extra weight imo
