Marion Seve

Such a shame this young man got injured so early on in this year's NYC season. Back in 2013, he was on par with Sione Mata'utia in the Australian Schoolboys, and look how much Sione has kicked on, will play for the Kangaroos this week in the space of a healthy year in the lower grades and a handful of NRL games towards the end of the season. Both boys were very impressive in a slightly lackluster 2013 Australian Schoolboy bunch. Here's hoping Marion can stay fit in 2015 and kick on like Sione did, as he will be a real weapon for us if so. If he can string together some 15 NYC games, it won't be long before he is given an NRL debut himself, he is a prodigious talent that we really shouldn't lose - a bolter that we should watch out for next year.

Just hope he's handled the mental side of being away from home and on the sidelines most of the year. Hope the club looked after him properly as this is one we don't want to lose.

Very good point you raise.

The main thing…..will he stay fit and get to his best,it can be gruelling coming back from injury and do we want another talent like Teddy, all the ability under the sun...just can't stay on the playing field for long...

Andrew vela is the best example. Brilliant school boy with more the talent than most first graders sidetracked with injuries.

He is an Ipswich boy

He's tough

And hurry up and sign his younger brother Ben

He was mentally and physically strong enough to come back from cancer, i'm sure i should recon isn't too much of a bother. Hopefully the club has been supporting him through all this. The club has only mentioned him once since he did his injury which is already poor form…

Supposed to be a very determined man. All the best to him.

Just think, it could have been him playing for the Kangaroos this weekend!

According to what I just read Ben is 33 and Marion is the youngest of the family?

I thought that Marion Seve was ahead of Sione at the carnival and in the test. Sione was more physically developed however and Seve did not look like the sort of player that would play at a really young age, and was more likely to progress through grades in a traditional manner. Certainly has the potential to be very good.

That said I thought that it was a weak Aus schoolboys side, maybe I was wrong

If you google Ben Seve , you will see his picture in the Qld Times

They have a picture of the two of them together

Mate who is the Colts coach at the Ipswich Jets has done coaching clinics with him
