I don't know if I'm the only one who could have an issue with this but I'll put it out there

As some might know Matt Bowen has come out of retirement and is playing for the Townsville Blackhawks

Seeing this is a feeder club for the Cowboys my understanding it is entirely possible for the Cowboys to draw on him for their NRL side

Am I the only person who thinks it is ridiculous that Matt Bowen could be recruited at the league minimum base rate to play NRL ??

And could this become a ploy for clubs in the future ??

I would be more concerned if they played Kalyn Ponga than Matty Bowen. Great in his day but past it.

Don't they have Kaylan Ponga or Giddy Up Giddy up Moseby....could always play Morgan at FB as well and bring in Thompson in the halves...all more likely options than using Matty Bowan...
