Word is that the Bulldogs are looking at Grant Mayer (General Manager of Commercial Operations) to replace Greenburg.

Would be an astute purchase. Mayer has done some clever things off the field this year

Yeah he'd be the logical choice really. Unless they have their eyes on someone we're not aware of, I can't see how they'd look past Grant.

Damn, we need people like him to make the Wests Tigers Club the success it deserves to be. We let great people like Trodden and Folkes go. I do relise that we can't stop him going after it, but for the clubs sake, i hope he stays.

Enlighten me…name a couple

The new Tiger Talk game day magazine. My dad's company is a player sponsor and the extra revenue the club is getting from advertising in the magazine is very valuable.

The amazing effort of the online interaction over the off-season. It was great to see the ins and outs of how the team was preparing over the summer. We absolutely smashed all other clubs in terms of page views etc. More page views = more you can charge for advertising = more money in the club.

Initiatives such as design the Women in League jersey and the 2014 home jersey. Great ways to get the fan community involved with the club.

Will that do?

nope!

haha, hadnt really noticed all the offseason interactions with the fans but you're right. Also, i remember the tigers site was ranked no. 1 from all clubs a couple of months ago. I think that could have been based on views but maybe not.

Everyone on here was raving about the great work on the website over the off season. I was overseas from October-March so wasn't getting the day to day goss from the news etc, so all the stuff on the website was great.

And yes you're right, we were #1 for page views.

Ahh okay, well if you look at my join date its just before the season started so I missed all the raving!

haha, i was kinda making a pun on 'raving' like https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSRsiF46qzjYD3ufcAzOeeepFhhU3XX27W80sag-3xkhAgHT-0T3Q

was a bit too subtle though…
