Fan Day this Saturday…....meet the Players..........

**Footnote: Please be advised that players are subject to availability.**......Lote..... 😕

Season's getting closer.............. :wahoo:

Certainly a good opportunity to meet the players and I'd imagine there will be a few people out there.

I think our team playing there is one thing…..but its really pushing it imo making the fans trek all that way to Roosters territory for a fan day.
Its not like the SFS is benefitting from this, considering the player meet n greet is in the bloody car park.

Oh, dear ….... :frowning:

Will we have to pay for parking in the car park???

I know the SFS is a home ground, but surely for a Fan Day we could use Concord, Leichhardt or Campbelltown.

As I understand it, Roosters players will also be in attendance which is probably why they've opted for the SFS.

its to promote the Foundation Cup - not a standard Fan Day. i spoke to the club and they said parking is free in MP1

I am reliably informed that you don't drive there anyway…...

Great day Robbie, Big Keith, Moltz, Fitzy, David Fifita, Lui, Asyhford and others all there signing and ready for photos. Little bit of goss was that Robbie hurt his hand in training this morning, hurt to take pen lids off and sign his name but assured me all ok. Spent time with my kids for photos, what a great leader this guy is.

Spoke at length to Fitzy who is stoked to be back and really looking forward to the season and working hard to get in the squad. Said pre-season has been really good and hard. Said he is playing a utility role after i asked if he was training for back up to Robbie.

Spoke to Moltz who is looking for a big year and is feeling good.

Biggest raps to David Fifita who is really keen and working hard to get into the side. He then took the smaller kids off to play touch and was just fantastic. My boy was just absolutley gobsmacked to be playing footy with a "real" Tiger.

The kids gave Aysford a huge "GO TIGERS!" on the wayout of the carpark as he was tucking into a pie, guy nearly choked…

Was a good day, players were happy to pose for photos and sign autographs.

Also on my way to the fan day I stopped off at a 7/11 on the way and met Daine Laurie. He approached me as I was wearing a Tigers jersey and we had a chat and he posed for a photo. He was very friendly and even seemed more accomadating than the players at the fan day. Also he is a BEAST!

Did anyone go to the Fan Day? Any goss?

Yeah, i gave Galloway a Dragon's supporters footy and Fitzy another F.W.O. shirt. Faff wasn't too impressed and suggested it was a Farah World Order shirt. Pffftt…i can't recall him ever scoring a try in the grand final..
