MICHAEL PARKER-WALSHE?

Anyone remember this guy?

Wasn't he an up and coming superstar absolutely killing it in the 20's.
Was signed w/ THE COWBOYS.

Asked for a release and hasn't really heard much of him for some time.
Supposedly he wasn't enjoying the game/life/etc at the COWBOYS and he was homesick and it all felt like a job to him.

Watching JETS VS BLACKHAWKS ISC game on TV recently, he was playing for the BLACKHAWKS.

They say a talented half is as rare as hen's teeth -
Surely this guy is one of the most talented halves to ever be involved in the game to not actually play …. first grade in the NRL.

Had the world at his feet but a relative got sick (or something similar) and he went back to NZ for 12 months.

When we signed Drinkwater, which I thought was a terrible decision, I remember someone asking me who should have we signed instead. MPW was top of my list.

I googled him after seeing him playing on TV.
Cowboy fans were all in agreeance of him landing a contract to be groomed as the future replacement for Thurtson, partnering Morgan in the halves.

Apparently his heart wasn;t in it when he walked away - but defo has the talent to make it….
