It seems a battle for the starting no7 jersey has emerged …...

ATM advantage Humble .

It will be interesting to see how it goes. I am of the view that Miller is the genuine deal and has more in his armoury than Humble but we will see. Humble also has about 3 years on Jacob.

humble if left at 7 will just keep getting better , miller wont get a shot if humble gets going with benj and robbie , humble played very well last game , but it is a wait and see type of thing , my money , humble

Miller has much more natural talent from what I've seen (even allowing for the age difference) and would be my first choice. He ticks all the boxes for #7 and if he gets a decent go he would demand his share of the ball which would likely advantage Benji's game. Rumour gives him some attitude but with that comes hunger, confidence, and also ambition which could see him leave if not handled properly.

Early days for Humble but he looks to be more of a support player and that has been tried before with John Morris…

Miller may well have more in his armoury but we are playing better with Humble IMO.

Jay we played better last week no doubt but IMO that had nothing to do with who was in the number 7\. Not dissimilar to how we played when Moltzen was in the 7 and we won 9 in a row in 2009.

Neither guy play Halfback or have much involvement in our team at all.Its a joke. And kills more me more the backs on the bench. Both of had very limited touches at the moment and are esssentialy a second 5/8 who cant call for the ball.If it stays like this i think humble is the choice as he is a 5/8 and looks faster more dangerous running the ball.

If we where to play a classic halfback, then miller would be my choice.Benji cant be relied on constantly with the ball in hand on 4th and 5th tackle. And is not a first choice first grade kicking option.Miller shows alot of promise in this area.

Humble has impressed me the most - both have had limited opportunity. He seems to be fluent in his passing and has delivered well to Marshall.

With more games and confidence I think he will start to contribute more on an individual level as well, taking on the line, etc.

Humble at this stage.

It must be so hard to overcall Marshall and Farah.

Marshall needs to take a step back and let Humble play a half back role.

Humble has speed and would like him to take on the line.

I heard Sterlo call Humble a more natural ball player… seems to be going ok.

But as someone said if we're going to change back to Miller, give the kid a month there.

Yeah it was during the monday night game against the raiders. On the radio sterlo said when humble was at the eels he was the best ball-player at the club.

I thought humble looked good for his first game there. Leave him there he will grow into the role.

Humble went well because the forwards were a lot better. A no7 is as good as the go forward, Joey Johns at his peak would have struggled with some of the efforts we have put in this year. In saying that its also a no7s job to keep the forwards powered up and running in the right direction.

As for taking control of the game, they would be under starting orders from the boss to leave it to Benji or Farah now that he is back. Either will get the job done and in time could make very good no7s. Sheens has to make the call and stick with it. Humbles biggest problem will be his versatility, he will be pushed into another role at the drop of a hat, where Miller would only ever get the no7 gig

That's why injuries will determine what happens.
If Tedesco doesn't get injured Moltzen would still be at halfback.
Humble's versatility didn't cover the fullback position well enough to stay there an entire game- however he can run on to play there as a sub , also half , hooker or winger , I suppose.
Same as Moltzen's versatilty cost him the job (and funnily enough cost him the fullback role most of last year) I think Humble will eventually make way for Miller.
Unless , of course , Sheens just plain don't like him.

Humble had a bit more and confidence in him and notice he wasn't defending way outside as Miller does. I also thought Humble has a longer pass on him than Miller thus we were able to switch play to either side of the park very quickly. I believe Humble will end up being our half back for 2012\. The onlt thing missing from him at this stage is a kicking game which I think we will get a glimpse of this Friday on one or two occasions and then more often as the season goes on and he becomes even more confident. But in the mean time we've got Marshall, Farrah and Moltzen to do some kicking to to have Humble kicking down the track takes pressure of all of them.

Humble is not a halfback or fullback, with his passing I'd say just a good back up hooker.
Miller is a halfback, full stop.
I'd persist with Miller, or at least give him a crack for 2-4 weeks.
I think Humble is quite happy to play a utility role at the tigers.

As we saw in the last 10 mins v the rabbitts we need someone who can organise the team and play with some common sense. Benji still has the maturity of a teenage rookie, and the tems needs a good steadying halfback next to him for us to be succesful. Miller is the player. He has a kicking game, and with time will have the confidence to be more vocal and demand the ball at key times.

Humble can pass the ball from side to side, and can seemingly run the footy ok (though i dont think he's made a break this season??) but we need an organising halfback not just someone to catch and pass.

Playing humble is a short term gain but in the long run wont help us. Give Miller some games and he'll play the role that we need a halfback to play at this club!

Miller is still a teenage rookie
In saying that it looks like Moltzen is stuck at fullback so I'd persevere with Miller.
