What does everyone think about trying to lure him early from the Knights & giving him the captaincy & the opportunity to finish his footy career at his beloved dads club. He could be the dominant half that Brooks needs. I would play Brooks as a running five eight which would ease the pressure on him. I would then play Douiehi at centre which I think is his best position & Hastings to hooker.Thanks

But ones NRL proven, the other is simply not

Pearce for one year, while we go out in the market and get another halfback for 2023 isnt the worst recommendation imo

He's barely taken the field.
I understand the logic.
I just don't think we'd get much value out of Pearce.
Might be worth suffering with Brooks another year over Pearce, lol.

Hastings is not proven eh...
Has been going well in England by reports.

Hastings this year has been pretty eh due to the injury woes wigan have hes had to fill in at lock and fullback but hes been a shining light in every game

That would be 5 long years ago when Hastings was a kid and Pearce was the NSW half.
The times they are a changing.
