yes he plays for newcastle, but our halves goto follow this guy's lead with their kicking game…

if marshall/lui/farah can manage half of what mullen does with the boot, we'll put 30+ on the raiders.

Pretty off topic but I agree…
As I've said in other threads, Jazzy has been phenomenal the last 2 rounds.
NSW Halfback for sure !

not off topic at all, if we had our kicking game right we'd be comfortably winning games and still playing average.. just trying to draw ppls attention to how its done by the pros

Mullen Pearce.
Ricky Stuart is a dunce.

I agree Demps but for Origin you want some combinations Especially against this QLD side I would pick Carney at five eight so gotta go with Pearce at Half

lol bias….....

Mullen goes missing a lot

Not even, lol….
I don't like the knights but I like what I've seen the last few rounds.
It's all about combination then let them build one, Mullen is the man.
I see him around all the time and although he has terrible taste in women he is a nice guy.

I love the Wests Tigers but also love Rugby League in general and watch other teams play.

Mullen is on fire and has a great kicking game. Newcastle have a great backline and a honest forward pack.

I would pick Mullen for NSW but seeing QLD beat us with established combinations I would
pick Pearce and Carney in the halves given their club partnership.

Lawrence and Idris in the Centres.

Yeah Beau Henry is an untapped talent, can't wait to see him evolve into an amazing player.
Mullen, Henry & Uate are defs the stars @ Newcastle.
I rate 'em real high.
Can't wait to see more of Likiliki from NZ also.

Benji needs to change his name to hazem then everything will be OK….and while he's at it Bryce can change his name to Dallas
Tommy Lui? Hmmm...

Mullen has been on fire teh first 2 weeks.

I thought Pearce was pretty awesome against the Rabbits, and good enough against Manly.

I think both would do a fine job at origin level. We'll prob pick Kurt Gidley or someone else left field.

Two games don't make a season, and Mullen has been far too inconsistent over the years.

He has had a good start to the year so far though.

I think pearce is playing really well, stood out for the roosters both weeks. I can't wait to see how long it takes for Canberra to realize orford is cactus and brings Williams back

You are correct, our kickers need to find space and turn their forwards around….waste of time giving them free 20m or having their 1,2 or 5 bring it back to the ad line

despite being from newcastle i hate the knights more then the rorters, mullen will be injured b4 SOO, the knights have been playin good footy for a few seasons just out of luck and i hate to say it but brian smith got rid off a lot of rubbish out of there ( or it could be i like him because every other knights fan hate him hmmmm)

Forget Mullen Beau Henry is the real deal Can't wait to see him in 2-3 seasons going to be a superstar of the future

all hype at the moment, whilst henry has done whats required, mullen is the one steering the team and getting them on the front foot with his accurate kicks.

Beau Henry is a quality player, Mullen is guiding them around agreed, but Henry is a good player already and will be a very good player in time, far superior to many other young halves that have come thru recently.

Im not giving away any secrets here, but there for the first time in along time is group of high quality halves coming through at once, Shaun Johnson, Sam Williams, Daly Cherry Evans have all yet to make their mark in First grade, but IMO definately will, plus of course the guys we have now seen a bit of Hodkinson, Mortimer, Sandow and of course our own Robert Lui. (with the exception of Hodkinson the others playing first grade are not setting the world on fire but all look set for long NRL careers)
I think the bulk of the halves for the last decade all came in at the 2 separate times 04ish we got Cronk, Thurston, Mullen and Wallace all come in, (walsh is the same age as them) and before that 95/96 we had Kimmorly, Johns, Barrett, Gower along with lesser lights who played alot of first grade Peters, McFadden and Mclinden. Other than those 2 groups not many halves have come in, seems to go in waves…. rambling a bit, I guess Im saying Henry is part of another wave
