Must win?

Is this a must win match for our top 8 hopes, if we lose this I think there's no chance of us making the 8.

Feeling a bit confident about this one, but still this is a crucial game that can make or break this season.

Thoughts?

It's must win in the sense that we're playing a team around us and it's important we take points off the Panthers, Dragons, Warriors, Titans etc.

I think we need to win this game and keep winning ….Especially against those teams around us..essentially it's a 4 point swing...

Pamfers are much like us..can score plenty as well as leak plenty...they have had the better of us the last few...

We can't get one 80 minute performance together and some think we are capable of putting 4-5 wins back to back and then eradicating our for and against issues at the same time

I'd say we need 7 wins as well to get us to 30

having said that,do forum users believe we are one of the top eight sides in the competition?

me thinks we are not.

i think we could outperform saints and penrith but not warriors or titans.

so if we make the top 8 eight great,but i cant see that happening.
hope springs eternal,but i see a 10th,11th or 12 th place finish.

I can never understand the love for Blake, he makes a stack of errors, and his defence is not great, but in saying that he will probably do a Gasnier on us, Mark that is not Reg, by that I mean a hat trick of tries against us. :frowning:

Well we can right some wrongs from our last game against Penrith which is important. I don't really care if we win because we ain't gonna win anything this year even if we make the eight, our squad is simply it good enough. What I would like to see us play with control, poise and commitment and not beat ourselves. If Penrith have too much firepower than so be it but we will surprise ourselves when we work out that to win you cannot beat yourself.

I dont think that is very likely but there is somethere to think this team could click. There is the same young talent there.

They have to believe they can, and they have to want to do it. Im sick of excuses.

Cmon Eddie they will be gripped with Federal Election fever , how will they be able to focus with not knowing who will be our PM after that day

I won't be surprised to see some late changes due to not wanting to miss out on the coverage

Surely Mark Latham rant will be worth the cover charge alone
