My irony perception

Had to laugh today when loud-mouthed ping ponger Jason Ackermanis came out in the media telling any gay AFL players that they would be best served staying in the closet as the AFL wasnt ready to deal with such revelatiuons.

Here's where my perception comes in….....

For 20+ years now I have always thought that it was a pre-requisite that you had to be a shirt lifting pillow biter to be allowed to play that game. In fact I was sure that you had to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt to be registered.

Now I just don't know where I stand, up is down - left is right - black is white?

What is going on????

While i totally disagree with Aka, the guy is a classic.

No one in their right mind would choose to be gay, so it must be a terribly difficult thing for them. I havent heard of one gay person who's come out and regretted it. It liberates them and allows them to be themselves. For the sake of that young teenager struggling to come to terms with his sexuality and decides its too tough and takes his own life, everyone, particualry high profile people, should be encouraged to come out.
