@Centaur I know the feeling, Warriors were my second fave team for years and they still are due to Bogut playing but I love Monte Ellis and feel it was a horrible trade, but I'm hoping Bogut proves me wrong, the bucks are doing prett well with him hence why I said Miami vs Miwaukee playoff

@Benji Ali I feel they can still get it good this season, can't see them winning but I can see them making the top 4-2 playoff in west, I hope they really do, he deserves it

Can't believe they got rid of Ellis. Mind boggling.

I started to get into the NBA about 3 or 4 years ago. I follow the Phoenix Suns.
I absolutely admire Steve Nash for an old guy he is such a competitor and arguably passes better than any player in the league. He is a joy to watch.

I am enjoying them making a late season run and I really hope they can pinch a playoffs spot just as a reward for the big effort they have put in this year.

It will be interesting to see what the Suns do in the next couple of seasons in terms of their roster.

@Centaur I know aii, he's an absolute talent and along with Tyreke Evans and John Wall he's one of the best rookies/mid age players ever, but u guys have Nate Robinson now and he's just skill apon skill that little fella

@Tiger Sean he definitely is one of the greatest, he better be put in the hall of fame

I wanna ask u and every1, I love my Miami and love that we got Lebron James, the commentators are saying that even though he has no rings, he is better than MJ, let's say he leads Miami to 3 rings, would u rate him higher, I would, overall he's a more better all round player than MJ and there is a lot more skill and competition these days, I think he will retire a better player than MJ did regardless of the rings

Lebron isn't close to Jordan. But he still has a lot of years to try and catch him.

The difference between MJ and Lebron is that MJ got drafted by a struggling franchise, stuck with them, and lead them to SIX titles over his career.

Lebron also got drafted by a struggling franchise and bailed to Miami to chase a title.

Lebron arguably has more talent around him then MJ ever had (outside of Pippen the rest of the Bulls were basically role players). Great players can lift the rest of their teammates to the next level. I'm yet to see Lebron do this.

In saying all this I think Miami will/should win the Championship this season. They'll beat the Bulls in the East, while I think the West is a lottery. If Miami don't win it'll put more question marks against Lebron's ability to lead a team to the Chamiponship. In Lebron, Wade and Bosh they have one of the best 2,3,4 combos of all time. Their time is now and they should win the title.

Like I say I haven't followed the nba for a couple of years, but IMO no one comes close to Jordan. It's already been mentioned but to deliver 6 titles with pretty much one other decent player is remarkable. The bloke basically defeated every team by himself, an absolute freak. I was going to say he is a once in a lifetime player, but I don't think that even does him justice.

I think were underrating the skill Lebron has, remember basketball these days are harder than 90s, Lebron is the MJ of these days and as the commentators say, Lebron and MJ are in the same league and no one comes close

Everyone on this forum has at least 1 thing in common with LeBron James.

0 NBA Championships.

But true.

And they had their chance last season. Ran their mouths a lot and dirk destroyed them.

Big talk they may break up the big 3 if they don't win this season.

They will win it this season, I have no doubt about it, we've done so well this season missing Wade for most the season and same to Bosh, Lebron has picked it up and led us to beat the bulls yesterday and finish top 2 and maybe even first, wel will win

I disagree with the sentiment that LeBron is "more better" than MJ and i really doubt he will ever equal the all around skill that MJ had. I also disagree with the statement that there is a lot more skill and competition these days.
The athleticism of the average team/player may possibly be of a higher level but, i don't think that has any bearing on skill and/or competition.
FWIW i have supported Golden State ever since Run TMC were running around and count myself lucky enough to have seen the Warriors play the Lakers at the Great Western Forum back when Chris Webber was playing and Mullin was still there…good times
edit: can't forget Latrell Sprewell

I love the NBA ever since i was a kid me and my mates used to watch it on chanel 10 as kids then go to the park and have a game and still watch it now. This was roughly around late 80s early 90s when jordan was in his prime and le bron james is not even close to jordan . ive heard commentaters compare lebron and kobe which is probably more realistic and heard them say those to are the closest weve seen to jordan , but neither of them are better . Jordan was better then those two in every aspect of the game , he dominated against legends like larry bird , magic johnson , reggie miller , malone , stockton , robinson., drexler , barkely , ewing….so skill wise it was equal to the game today .its not like he retired 20 - 30 years ago..he still played against the likes of shaq and kobe .he is not only the best basketballer of all time but one of the greatest sportsman of all time..ive still got some of his dvd and regardless if your a basketball fan or not you will be in awe..even my wife sits though them once i put it on...Its as Magic Johnson puts it...theres michael jordan..and then theres the rest of us .

Yeah well said. Anyone could appreciate the skill he had, and the ease with which he used to dominate his opponents. I still have a documentary on video of the bulls first three peat, and even to this day I watch it and am in total awe of mj. I don't think there will ever be another player like him.

Was just having a think about it and started comparing him to benji Marshall. The two sports are worlds apart I know, but I thought of it this way. Benji has that x factor about him, just as Jordan did. But for me what was so good about mj was how consistently he would pull off a game winning play. Benji tries some spectacular stuff to win us games, and it probably comes off 1 or 2 times out of 10\. Jordan would pull off a game winning play 8 or 9 times out of 10\. His ability to win a game when it was there to be won is another reason why I think he is the best we will ever see.
