New Goals for 2014?

After the great start we've had this year, I was wondering if anyone has re-assessed their expectations for the team in 2014?

Prior to the start of the year, a lot here were saying improvement would be great, with a shot at the top 8 in 2015… I think sitting third on the table after round 6 has pleasantly surprised many.

So, in light of our good start, where do you think we'll finish now???

Not really. I don't have goals for the team as all I do is watch. I just want to see them put in.

I thought pre-season that anywhere in the top 10 would be good considering we're a club still very much in development with a youthful roster…..

After the Rd 1 drubbing that was revised back to anywhere outside the bottom 4 and in fact I thought we'd be lucky to avoid the spoon if that was an indication of the season ahead.....

With robbie and teddy in the side I'd give us a good chance of knocking over any side so if we can remain resolute until both or at least one or back on deck I think we can most certainly finish in the top 8!

I felt before the season started we could make the top 8 and my opinion has not changed….we are a young side; its a long season...im not getting carried away with our great start.....but boy am I excited about 2014 and beyond...

I would be stoked with a top 8 finish. Would mean that the team has exceeded most expectations and be a great platform for the 2015 season!

Remain competitive over the next few weeks without Farah and Teddy.

Yeah nothing's changed for me either. We're only a few rounds into a long tough competition with a fairly young team. Consistent effort even if not in performance is what I want to see. For the forwards to keep digging in and the backs to keep backing themselves.
