Newbie questions about the forum

hi there. first of all, it's nice to be part of a forum where moderation actually happens! couple of questions…

* 1\. where can i find the forum rules?

2\. i've been notified that one of my posts was approved. do i get notification if a post _doesn't_ get approved?

3\. are everyone's posts made to go through an administrator first, or is this a trial period for new users (hence question number one)

1 - at the top of each forum there is a thread called "are you new to this forum? Rules and guidelines"

2- i think so… not sure. Unless your post contains overt swearing, hate rants or personal abuse (and all that other kind of stuff) then it should be approved.

* 1\. i must've had my man-eyes on when i missed the rules link! (no offense to men, with that comment).

2\. the first post i made hasn't been approved, and i've not had notification of it being disapproved. there was no swearing/abuse; just a question about leichhardt. nevermind though, i can re-post it again.
