The NRL are gonna own and run the club so there's no chance of it changing. There's a feeling here that's its why PVL didn't allow the local private investors have the license.
Fans over here will just have to lump it. It will take a bit longer to gain traction now, especially if they struggle early.

i live on the central coast and that experiment , the Beagles went down like a lead ballon ,even b4 manly stuffed the whole process . A new team should begin with no old baggage . Is it not a conflict of interest that the NRL will own a team in there own comp? even though they will probably sell them once they are successful and established. Not sure what the value of exisiting NRL franchises would be these days.
