We are a long way down the list. Seeing our coach was an ex Goalkicker , I thought we would be higher up the list.

If you could teach a kicker to be elite in a year and a half, then every kicker in the comp would be pushing 90%.

Players of any sport have either got exceptional skills in certain areas or they haven't- some things can't be completely taught. That's why plenty of children of elite sportspeople are never as good as their parents: you either have those certain skills or you don't .
I'm sure JT is doing plenty of work with our goalkickers at training.
