Thought Felisse, Fine (saved 2 tries with great 1 on 1 tackles) and Griffin were the best. Was difficult for backs to shine in the wet conditions.

MCK looked good in attack but thought he got caught out in defence a few times.

. JJ could be anything. Id be tempted to have him off the bench already in firsts.

I often worry about these big islander kids that carver up in NYC. When they get to play against men they usually get found out. However JJ looks an exception. He has great work ethic on the field and doesnt just rely on his physical attributes. Will be surprised if he doesnt play 1st grade this year.

Saw the whole match. Chee Kam looked the goods in the centres & Peni was strong. Was surprised the Newtown blokes were able to run Addo-Carr down when he scored his second - he looked much quicker to me in the nines. Lamar had some nice footwork going and threw a few classy passes.

Ran him down when he scored his second try?

Please explain.

Sorry, I could have been clearer - a couple of the Newtown blokes were able to catch him, but couldn't effect the tackle. I thought he would have smoked them.

Maybe he was a yard slower because of the first one. If Usain Bolt ran two 100m sprints back to back you better believe the second one's slower.
