Does anyone have any info on why Moses is not in either squad for this trial? He was also not selected in the first trial - i'm guessing an injury but haven't seen any info yet.

Bit strange answering myself but Moses was just listed on the injured list - leg injury - out indefinitely.

Here we go again, more players out than in, whats going on at our club??????

Moses was recovering from a broken leg suffered last year. I assume it isn't strong enough yet for full contact.

Mitchell only started light running last weekend in camp. I hope they don't rush him.

Given his talent, they'd be foolish to do so. Let him recover fully, then ease him into NYC.

Looking forward to seeing what Nathan Brown can do this year. Was outstanding in the semi final last year. Showed real hunger to get the job done.

there is a ludicrous amount of talent there, you could also (if they wanted) throw in Tedessco, Sirro, Moffa, Brooks and the injured Moses, there will already some very good players miss out, without them being in the mix.

Full strength a Back row of Lovett, Vela and Santi and more halves than you know what to do with….

If they want to win it, and play those not in NRL in NYC rather than NSW cup, they will go very close again.

For sure. However IMO it would be better for these blokes' development to be playing against hardened men in the NSW Cup instead of against boys in the NYC if they aren't selected for 1st grade. If they are dominating in the NYC then it would be easy for them to fall into the trap of just going through the motions instead of really pushing themselves to be better players.
