Since Ellis departed we have been crying out for a back rower that runs the hard lines,runs decoy lines and hits hard and often in defence, Lawrence showed us glimpses last year he could be the man. I seriously think a young Siro and Lawrence could match it with the best in 2016 given some luck from the injury god

Let's hope so, I'd love for them both to succeed given their histories with the club. But if one or both don't I hope we're prepared to start looking elsewhere.

In 2016 will be make or break time for a few of the WTs. The last couple of years we have had so much inexperience in the side, surrounded by Journeymen. 2016 will see a lot of our players going from 30 NRL games to 50.
Lawrence has always busted a gut playing for the WTs. He'll go well in the 2nd row this year.

I think a number of the fring front rowers will be let go as the under 20's front rowers will step up next year. Lawrence should be kept and I think he will find his niche as a backrower. Some of the other will need to show they are above a NSW cup standard, otherwise I think they will also be shown the door or be offered 2nd tier contracts only.

saw simon at a local sports club very recently having a quiet coffee with a friend. his arm was in a sling but he had a smile and seemed ok.
never forget simon's awesome smashing of jwh in that finals game against the roorters.

I think we will so an evolution in back rowers over the next 5 seasons

I don't think Rowdy will fit that evolution

If Simon didn't get hurt,imagine the impact our forward pack would of had with him in it..

mentioned to the people i was with that he was destined for better and bigger things in the game before that shocking injury. was probably the real catalyst to bring about awareness of early, career ending injuries and recognition of forms of compensation.
it is always good to see simon mentioned on the forum. champion bloke.
