OK, I'll admit it...

It was a nice surprise but I always thought they would come back at us and hard. We are a team still learning and that 32 point demolition of our lead will be another lesson for the team to put in the memory banks.

Keep believing, the young blokes are all keepers. We just need to add a couple of hard arsed forwards to help them.

Me too! I only wished we could've scored some points when they had their full compliment on the field. Makes it look like we only scored because it was 13 against 12 :frowning: . Mind you, if the ref didn't destroy us in the penalty count in the second half I reckon we probably would've scored another try or two. It could've been a crackerjack finish to the match if all was fair, but sadly we'll never know.

Wish we coulda headed to the sheds at 24-12 or 24-6\. Then it mighta been a contest since it was clear they were gonna come back hard and most importantly consistently for how ever many minutes remained in the game.

If Lote's try had been given, or if he had been able to force that ball at the end of the 1st half, who knows. 18 points wasn't going to be enough, but the boys did well to fight for as long as they did. Once Souths got their nose in front, it was game over.

This .To me I believe souths are the exact opposite to us.Our strengths lie out wide(no woods hurts us up front obv.)while souths up front are beyond awesome. We are young and improving up front. But when we play souths it is currently men vs boys. But someof souths outside backs are overrated such as goodwin feeding off the forwards like a vulture.
