Out of Towners Ticket Question

I'm going to ring the club on Monday to check this but someone may know already.

The Out of Towners membership pack states "4 x Adult General Admission passes to **any Wests Tigers home match**"

However, just looking at the tickets themselves they say "Admit once only to any Wests Tigers 2013 home game at **allianz stadium**".
Can anyone confirm that the ticket printing is wrong?

As i'm going to be in Sydney for the Parra game at Leichhardt I'm really hoping that the any home game isn;t just limited to allianz stadium!

OUT OF TOWNERS MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:
>
o 4 x Adult General Admission passes to **any** Wests Tigers home match**
>
o Member Kit
>
o Member Benefits
>
o One (1) x $20 Merchandise Voucher
>
Please note: **There is a possibility that the 4 x Adult General Admission passes can be swapped for a Wests Tigers away match. Please note: this is not an inclusion of your membership package but is an option that may be available based on terms and conditions which are available on our website weststigers.com.au. It also falls under the discretion of the opposing team.
It is not available for Sydney based Wests Tigers away games.

**Pretty clear to me**

For a membership that focuses on the members residential distance away from our games …..for it to be specific to one ground seems wrong
As you say it appears to be any home game or possibly an away game at a regional venue.....but the text on the ticket suggests otherwise
Sounds like youve been sent incorrect tix....ring the club on Mon

Softlaw, you may want to ring the club on Monday. I'm an Out of Towner … My ticket says ADMIT ONCE TO ANY WESTS TIGERS 2013 **HOME GAME**.

The only reference to the SFS (& SCG) is in the Pax section on the right of the ticket.

I'll also be in Sydney on Friday and was a bit concerned about entry given the potential for a big big crowd. I emailed the months ago and they confirmed the OOTer membership would definately gaurentee entry to the Parrascum game.

Thanks for the scan Craig. Mine is exactly the same as yours apart from the words "AT ALLIANZ STADIUM" after "2013 HOME GAME". Which is possibly a fairly important difference…

Glad I actually looked at my ticket rather than just turning up and trying to hand it over at the gate.

& yes Ink, both the website and the accompanying letter make it quite plain what it _should_ be...

Definite phonecall tomorrow.

Ticketek issued tickets normally are used at SFS/SCG.

ProTicket cover CSS & LO.

Does that small print say 'Entry subject to venue capacity'?

Interestingly, yes.

But WT membership confirmed the OOT membership would gaurentee entry. I'll lose my shit if I rock up at 6pm and get turned away

Grrr now I have to ring them tomorrow :frowning:

I would suggest it probably means if I rock up at 7.40 and ground is past safe capacity they have the right to turn me away.

If so then that is BS I reckon. Surely they keep track of how many tickets have been pre-sold? It should be the people who rock up off the street wanting to get in at the last minute that are turned away.
Coming over from Perth to watch the SCG game vs Drags on an out-of-towners ticket so will have to double-check the fine print now.

Rang this am. 'Tim' said It was a typo on the early batch and the grounds have been advised so all ' should' be ok. We'll see. Said there was an advice on the website at the time but I couldn't find it.
Also said the capacity thing was only allianz but didn't sound confident on that bit. I'm going for the 20s so shouldn't be an issue.

No you should be golden f2b

Just rang and spoke with Lauren and asked her flat out "if Leichhardt sells out before Friday" - Her answer was all members are included in that total, so "no member who has access would ever be turned away"

Given your trip is for Heritage/SCG you should be fine mate.

(Particularly given how rubbish Saints are  )

My Out of Towners tickets don't mention anything about Allianz. I used one of my tickets at Campbelltown yesterday with no problems.

Why is it that the Wests Tigers seem to think all of their fans live either in Sydney or in the 100km radius away from Sydney?

Most clubs now have a Melbourne/Brisbane membership package where they give you a ticket to a game in the state you live in (if you live in Vic or QLD).

I had been a Tigers member for a long time but I couldn't justify getting the out of towners package this year, the cost and impracticality of it just makes me feel as if the club doesn't give a shit about me because I live further away from Sydney than Pheasants Nest.

For the same price, I can buy a Storm GA membership and watch 8 games at their stadium (Including the Tigers game).

To be able to do that just seems wrong to me. I will stress that I won't be buying a storm membership. I just used it as an example.

It's a fair point MU. OOTer suited me because I'll be up there def for a Campbo game as well as Leichhardt this week, but it is a big price for people who may not make as many trips up.

Yep, I asked the girl at the membership tent on entering cambo yesterday, as mentioned theyre aware of the prob, priniting error….all will be accomodated at any home game

Good onya mate
Not so sure about the Saints though, you just know they will play their best game for the year against us in the Heritage game the mongrels! They always do.
