Overall vs Titans - how I see it

Well-known member
1 Rowe - not his fault, he's just playing out of his league. Biggest problem is he stops at the line in attack and at the wrong place in defence. The game is to quick for him

2 Nofo - did nothing wrong or flash. Looked injured

3 Simona - went well

4 Lawrence - went well, looking better in 2014

5 Richards - consistent with this years efforts

6 Anasta - trying harder, getting worse

7 Brooks - tried hard, at times only for himself

8 Galloway - usual game

9 Luani - over thinking and over playing his hand, better in his second stint, maybe just a pass today, only young

10 Woods - went well, no non sense, just below his usually standards

11 Fulton - was used to much by Brooks with inside balls to no affect

12 Thompson - tried hard, went soft

13 Blair - just goes to show that when where on top, he's really on top, just like a halfback needs the forwards rolling to look good, Blair also gets better with the roll. Went ok

14 Taupua - very solid, another value for money performance

15 Akauola - fumble prone today, just one of those days

16 Ava - never wound up, injury hit first

17 Austin - added instant spark, still could do a little better in defence, but overall has done plenty to remain in the top 17

Crowd - not vocal enough, playing the Titans who had no support there at all, sort of silenced the old lady

Titans - nothing flash, copped injuries, but hit harder in defence

Referees - missed plenty, weren't favouring any side, just shocking. That second Ref I can't recall ever seeing him before, what ever his name is, probably won't see him again anyway.

Final wash up - they came to play and won. Can't get to deflated over today's game, we were always getting closer to one of those days.

Scoreline 22-6 I think was a true reflection

We had too many injuries, no structure and no attacking spark.

Anasta last tackle options look like he is play fifth grade at the local club. Mind you all our fifth tackle options has sucked for two games now.

Rowe isn't ready for first grade

Our forward back isn't as affective with the injuries.
There is no organisation or structure here.

Brooks is to young to build up a play. He is good but still can't see what he needs to do in the next play.

Our centres need to be running better angles towards the post while the wings run straight for two options for the halves

My two cents.
