can anyone tell me if an attempt has been made by WT to sign one of the panthers prop forwards if not why any fool can see WT are weak in that department.

Could have something to do with the fact they are currently on $600K per year.

Grant has talent but is not worth that, McKendry is lazy and has little impact IMO.

Are they even off contract? I know there is some talk about Penrith releasing players but that's about it AFAIK

They've got problems due to clauses in contracts about the cap rise. Jennings, Coote, Grant and McKendry all have them. Would happily take either of the props mentioned, both have plenty of quality years in them, have both played rep footy and will play a lot more rep footy. Whether they release them is the big question.

Well hopfully we can still sign on more prop and that will be Mick Potter first signing.

I doubt that they are on $600k/year. $450k/year most likely. I sure that they would accept $400k/year with the right club.
