We will over pay again for another hyped up youngster.
We have to be the dumbest club ever to fall for junior hype.
All these world beaters we keep producing you would think we would have won multiple premierships by now.
Keebra park bro. What a joke.
We've won the same amount of premierships that the Broncos have won in the last 15 years .
They're not that easy to win .
speaking of hyped up youngsters , keebra park & the broncos … about 12 months ago this happened ...

THE Broncos have snared one of the most promising young centres in the game with cancer-beating sensation Marion Seve leaving the Tigers for Brisbane.
>
Seve will join the Broncos this season, further bolstering the club’s backline stocks following the recruitment of James Roberts.
>
While he is yet to make his NRL debut, Seve is regarded as one of the most devastating young three-quarters in rugby league.
>
A product of league nursery Keebra Park on the Gold Coast, Seve fought testicular cancer which spread to his liver in his teenage years but emerged from the battle to win the Peter Sterling Medal as the country’s best schoolboys player in 2013.
hasn't been sighted in first grade , maybe he will but others have had a taste before him when there's been outs from the broncos backline .
the moral of this story ...
it aint that easy , even the best clubs dont get it right all the time ...

Who was that player, was it Daine Laurie? If it was let's hope Paseka does a bit more with his talent than what DL did.

Laurie could have been anything with half a brain.

@fulleightyminutes said:Just back from Intrust trial. Paseka is enormous and willing but I don't think it close to NRL standard yet. He was actually pretty well handled by Jets (although it always took two of three to do it and he got away a few offloads). The stand-out forward was Junior Tatola. he looked ready.

How was JJ Felise, Heleta, Marsters???
@southerntiger said:The Seve one is an interesting one. It was weird that he was hyped when the Broncs snared him because he had never really set the world on fire here. In all my times of watching NYC and ISP the Tigers have had numerous centres who performed better than Seve and none of whom went on to play firsts.
Marion still seemed to be living off his junior days as the best footballer in the country, albeit in a weak age group.
With us, he lacked genuine pace and was small. I always hoped he would prove me wrong and I deluded myself into thinking all the good judges couldn't be wrong. But, upon reflection, it has not been surprise that he hasn't made it.
