Mate a who's who of NSW SOO greats Mate NSW 3-0 with this side Can't believe you left out Marty Gurr and Phil Duke though Possibly our first ever Captain Coach as well

Mate, I only know of Sigsworth's and Raper's exploits because some people I know still refuse to let it go!

Heard a funny story in regards to Marty Gurr He had a selector for NSW approach him and said "Don't worry Marty , we are still watching you keep it up and you might get a recall " Marty Gurr had been retired for two seasons when this selector approached him Doesn't sound like NSW selectors , does it ?? :roll :roll :roll :roll

My team:

1\. Minichello
2\. Fergusson
3\. Morris
4\. Lawrence
5\. Uate
6\. Carney
7\. Pearce
8\. Tamou
9\. Farah
10\. Snowden
11\. Watmough
12\. Lewis
13\. Gallen

14.Woods
15\. Hayne (MUST BE IN THE TEAM LOL)
16\. Glenn Stewart
17\. Sims

I hate Fergusson for the record. But we want to score points, he's proven.

Reckon despite his shoddy form if you threw Ayshford into the centres he'd lift. True story.

Snowden, he is going crap. Gallen will play prop and Glenn Stewart lock.

It's funny how in that article in the SMH about him taking risks with picking this year's team he pretty much admits the teams he picked last year were crap.

Ferguson makes too many errors. Plus he has this unhappy knack of getting in the wrong position at the wrong time that normally results in him getting in the way of his team mates. If they pick Mini they've gone :crazy FB should be down to Dugan or B Stewart with my preference to Stewart. Jarrod Hayne at centre would be a disaster. His defence isn't up to it and why do they keep picking him in positions he doesn't play or has failed in? Either pick him at FB or on the wing or don't pick him at all.

Have either of the Morris brothers ever played a decent origin match? Well there aren't too many centres left standing so one of them is bound to get picked. Anyway after thinking about it for roughly 30 seconds I'll go for…

B Stewart
Hayne
Lawrence
Morris
Uate
Carney
Pearce
G Stewart
T Leahrord-Lahrs
Williams
Gallen
Farah
Tamou
---------------
Lewis
T Sims
Woods
Merrin

my team

anyone who is prepared to put both of his nuts on the line , prepared to smash those toddes , start of fight in the first scrum , start a fight on the 3 rd tackle of the game ,gang tackle every thing that moves , headbutt the locker before coming out , get on the tv and look deep into the camera and pick 1 player and tell him you are going to smash him not once not twice , three times , the ref will lose controll of the game and we will win
player 1 mr balls on the line
player 2 mr balls on the line
and so on

Well, looks like none of us got the team right - surprise, surprise. Most of us got the obvious choices - Gallen, Carney, Pearce, Lewis, G. Stewart etc. A few put Buhrer in and Sims was an overwhelming choice here, but not by the selectors, of course. :crazy Hardly anyone chose Brett Stewart as fullback and looks like no one even thought about selecting Ben Creagh - but then again why would you? Only Stuart and co would make that choice AGAIN! :brick:
