PLAYERS PRAISED FOR EXCELLENT BEHAVIOUR
16/08/2011 10:11:27 AM
Wests Tigers have been commended for their behaviour at a Kiama Hotel last week as part of a four day camp.
Susan Oliver, of Kanahooka, wrote to the Club congratulating the players and coaching staff on their politeness and manners.
"My daughter Alicia works at the The Grand Hotel in Kiama. She was contacted by Wests Tigers Football Operations Manager Alan Mair asking if it would be okay to bring in 30 people for dinner to which she said of course,'' Susan wrote.
"To her surprise it was the Wests Tigers. My daughter was thrilled to serve these players. She is not a big rugby league fan but knows who some of the players were.
"The players treated her and the other people in the bar with respect. She had many conversations with the players during the night and at no time did they misbehave.
"Footballers get bad publicity all the time so I would like to congratulate the Wests Tigers for being gentlemen during the evening."
