Could somebody explain to me how Lachlan Galvin has a top 30 spot for next year when he hasn't played above s g ball yet KitLaulilii and Heath Mason have played jersey flegg and Da Silva first grade and no mention of top30 for them

Da Silva will almost 100% go into the Top 30 for next year.

If I was to take a guess, I think Galvin is going into the 30 straight away because they had to, in order to keep him.

Pretty sure Galvin is managed by Moses, not Tartak like most of the other young Wests boys, so would've been harder to keep him at the club when others come knocking.

I think Faagutu is also a Moses client, so also wouldn't be surprised if he goes into the Top 30 before next year too.

It's unfortunate in the short-term but important if their long-term aim is to keep a majority of the core of this talented group together.

I would have thought Feledy would be top 30 too so he could play fg from the start

Who are our best kids ? The ones most likely to step up over the next couple of years and be guns.

I reckon the ones with the best chance of coming through to NRL over the next couple of seasons will be Da Silva, Faagutu, Feledy, Galvin, Kit Laulilii; maybe Solomone Saukuru, Miller and Luke Laulilii.

Mason is a chance too if we can keep him.

Yeah that's my read of it too.

Top 30 in '24 - Feledy, Da Silva, Galvin & Faagutu
Top 30 in '25 - Laulilii, Laulilii & Miller
Mason & Saukuru likely in the picture somewhere too.

We can't have many top 30 spots left with the kids being added to top 30 and the Fainu brothers joining.

Need to get rid of some dead wood.
