If they are going to bring 2 teams in only way I can see it working is if they allow a sombrero cap for the first 3 years. A living away from home allowance so to speakLooks like PNG are in

Don’t worry the government has a plan to get that money back , they will keep increasing our power prices, but Albo will tell u , ur much better off , as interest rates continue to rise as well , there all grubs on both sides , but Albo wins by 5 lengthsHalf a billion on PNG footy to counter China & $300+b
On submarines that aren't being made is crazy. People

Careful...loads of Albo voters on here. You can always vote them out.If this is true, this is absolutely disgraceful. How can they justify this. What a joke.
People out there can’t even pay their Mortgage/rent and our medical system is at breaking point, but wait let’s waste money on sport………joke.
There are lots of Albo and conservative voters everywhere. Justify it though. It is mind boggling. What happens to this team and their support once Labor is voted out? Who the heck will play for them? Cannot believe V'Landys went with this.Careful...loads of Albo voters on here. You can always vote them out.

All sides of politics would back this and will back it over the long term. PNG is a key strategic partner in a key location for Australia. This is about supporting our close partner and is effectively a combination of foreign aid and defence spending. It only involves rugby league because it's the key thing PNG wants and that's great for our sport and given it cements our relationship as a country long term for a piddling 600m over 10 years which we would already be spending its very very cheap. There are lots of Albo and conservative voters everywhere. $600 mil of taxpayers money!Yep. I rate the PNG induction into the NRL as the worst decision the game has ever made. I see zero logic on it outside of the NRL lining its pockets through the government. It's a disgusting decision.
Good shit…our days of winning the spoon are coming to an end.Looks like PNG are in

Add a $400 million referendum to that!$600 mil of taxpayers money!
AFL and Soccer would be pissed off.
Straight out of the foreign aid budget I hope.Half a billion on PNG footy to counter China & $300+b

$14 for a large chips at LO, Albo should be throwing some Pacific pesos at us.
And send some of our ground security merkins to PNG. An increasing number of them think they are FBI.
There’s no bulldogs on our jerseys agent 99.
Gee I could think of many, many better things to spend $600m on to benefit the people of PNG than supporting their football team to enter the NRL. That must mean that health, education, law and order etc etc are in pretty good shape up there. Another Albanese folly.
He's not the Messiah either. He's not that boy from Marrickville anymore 😁
