Guys and gals,

What is it with everyone giving up so easily, i don't get the mentality and attitude of some on this forum, you all have given up on this team and cant see us beating the panthers and well be smashed by the titans etc, lets try and be positive for once, why do you watch the tigers if you don't believe they can win, i watch every game nervous as hell but like to think we can win all our games, sure we wont win every game all year but were in with a shot for every game and thats the attitude we need to have.

lay of the coach, hes not going anywhere this year so lets give the guy a break and have some faith in the players and lets all cheer the boys on and hope they can put in a good performance and get us to the semis, from there you don't know, so far our record in the finals is pretty good yet to lose a game as the wests tigers in the semis.

Cmon tigers please just believe in your self and trust that you can win…

i agree while we are playing poorly at the moment there is still hope we can do something god this year. we beat the panthers next week and we are looking good and i for 1 think we can win 3 from 4 and finish 3rd or fourth. come on tigers FIRE UP BOYS

Sorry I prefer to go in with the attitude that we will get spanked for the next 4 games and miss the 8.

It's not what I want or hope to happen but it means if we get some wins it will be a pleasant suprise. If we lose it will be something I have prepared for.

Sorry but resignation is a far easier pill to swallow than the falling out the back door with barely a whimper we have had to tolerate for the last four seasons

Our record against Penrith is truly abysmal. Played 18, won 4, lost 14, and we have lost the last five games against them.

Why should anyone feel confident ahead of this game? I live in hope and if we were to somehow win this game it would be a massive achievement, given that I think the Souffs game will mentally scar us. I live in hope but trying to be realistic at the same time.

They will most likely destroy us on Sunday - they will hit it up hard for five tackles and then launch it to the heavens on the sixth considering we couldn't catch a cold to save our lives. Pritchard will play his token fantastic game against us and will no doubt offload a record number of times and their big boppers will more than likely belt us.

God help us if McKinnon is again unavailable this week. But even if he is, Lote and Ryan have been terrible under the high ball of late. Penrith will kick, kick, kick all night.

And I'll be there live to watch it all as usual.

A win is looking unlikely for us. But, to try some positive thoughts for a minute, should the boys get a win it could do massive things for their confidence and willingness to compete for the full 80 over the next few weeks!

Ditto. 5 years of disappointment is enough. Sheens must go.

totally agree!

mate, you cant tell me you aren't feeling a little bit concerned about our prospects over the next four weeks? yes, we are still in a good position on the ladder but people are dropping their bundle because of the manner in which weve got there. it doesn't exactly instill confidence i me they way we have been going the last 6-8 weeks. fair enough you can only play who is front of you and get the two points but at this stage of the year we need to step it up and that souths game like the manly game showed me we are not even close to competing come sept.

we can kick ass, i know that well and truly and thats what kills most of us on here, we just need to start seeing it and consistently. this sunday is massive for us. if we dont come out frothing at the mouth after last week somethings wrong and i am expecting a performance. i may not be the most positive atm but ill still turn up and go ape at the game and support the boys whole heartedly

can i add even when we are travelling well i don't like to talk us up! im a bit like des hasler i guess, i want us to fly under the radar as it were. i always think as soon as i get excited or talk it up im a putting a mock on the team. i will come on here and post positivley but when im around my mates or co-workers i am tight lipped. unless of course said person deserves a spray!!

I will be positive we have the team to win all our remaining games have we a coach that can prepare /select the team to achieve this IMO no so there you go as positive as it gets.

Lote and Beau against a team that scores majority of their tries through kicks.

There is a reason people aren't confident.

WHat positives can you find from the last 10 weeks?
We've been beaten by two genuine prem contenders (Manly and Dragons) quite comfortably
Struggled to beat depleted broncs side… and lost to a very much depleted souths team
Got extremely lucky against the sharks
We've been absolute crap the last ten weeks apart from Heighno and Fulton IMO who have done there work week in week out

The main positive that I can see is we are still well in the guts of the top eight, our possy on the ladder is good compared to those in 9, 10 & 11 spots.
can change very quick tho.
We'll fall into the semis…..whole new ball game there, we'll need to find another gear

If we do make the finals and i think we will as innsaneink says it is a whole new ballgame from there. lets try and remain positive guys ( i know its hard at times ) and cher the boys on to the finals

What else is there to be other than positive? Are you seriously going to go around letting a game of football affect your entire persona for the week? Come on everyone at the end of the day it's a game of football, a past time we choose to join in for 80 minutes (ok 90 this week) and yes it hurts if we lose but that feeling fades as you look forward to the next game.

I don’t understand how you can get through the week or your life at that rate if you can't shake it off. The only ones who can affect anything are the players and from what I saw on Sunday at the Members Day is anything to go by they were truly gutted. The staff and players want to play finals footy more than any of us, it's their job. We can go back to our lives once the game is over but they live it 24/7 and as with all athletes Pro or Am they are proud people who are measured on one thing and one thing alone…success not just by us and the press but mostly by themselves.

Yes we may lose on Sunday and the week after that and miss out on the finals. I don’t think we will but if what gets you through your day is looking at the worst case scenario then that’s your choice, it’s incredibly sad and probably explains why football fill such a huge void but at the end of the day the sun will come up in the morning and we get a chance to get back in the winners circle.

i am positive that wests-tigers can make the finals. yes in season 2010.
its up to the players and coaching staff to achieve this.
they control their own destiny ( apart from crappy ref call's)
all i can do is support them.
