No more negative from this little black duck

Lets look at some of the positives

1/ In years gone past we could of been 5-3 and had a negative 40 for and against

2/ Had arguably 3 of our best forwards out and only just get pipped

3/ The boys are still working overtime for each other scrambling their hearts out in defence
/ Some blokes we thought might be bit part players have stepped up big time Thompson ,Twal ,Huth

4/ Rowdy is born again , easily our best after 8 Rds

5/ We have finally earned respect from everybody across the board , even Rothfield can see positives

Cmon guys and gals lets add to it , lets see if we can get this over 50 positives

Godinet has almost certainly guaranteed himself a place in the ISP next week - positive. Lol, but really you can’t understate the injuries we’ve had to some of our key defenders.. And we’ve only ever lost by 2 points. I don’t think we’ve fully clicked as a team yet.
 
Lost 3 games by a total of 6 points

That's a massive improvement for us

We are playing our hearts out

I didn't see last week's loss but as IC said we had no rhythm today and only just lost

Even our bad games are close instead of big hidings

I love how we are playing just silly mistakes at crucial times costing us
 
the thing I liked the most was when Parra scored we kicked off and belted them and got an error and scored.

that put us in front and we won that lead.

Parra got theirs off shitty penalties.

I like this side.

I agree plenty of positives ..no use adding there are more Positives than negatives at this stage just a bit frustrating ..
 
Massive positive is that we have Packer and Twal to come back into the side we’ll look a lot better when they return.

We’re hanging tough in games and make teams work for it which when compared to years gone by you have to be happy about.
 
The positive is that we have 5 wins in the bag, we could have easily lost some of 5hose games but we didn’t.

Our defence has improved considerably on last year. I think we must be pretty much top of the pack as far as points against stats.

This year our aim was going to be to set solid foundations for the next ….. where we could challenge for top four with the further addition of some solid qualaty to the roster. So we are achieving that and that is a positive for us.

Our backline combinations and attack are on improve. Still missing a good centre, a qualaty fullback and impact forward. But overall our roster is deep. Positive.

So overall we should be satisfied but I can understand everyone is disappointed that we still can’t win those games that we clearly should win. So that is a negative.

And Reynolds ….. I think you will find he will be a definite positive when he finally makes his way back on the field.

If Tui gets his mojo back, he will also add something to our backline.

I think Reynolds fit and firing is the key with the attack TBH.
 
We’ve lost 3 games by only 2 points. I don’t think the eels can play much better than that. We shot ourselves in the foot so many times, couldn’t buy a penalty and we still nearly won that game. Thats the positives I see from this game. In years gone by with that penalty count and that many dropped balls we would get smashed. Yet we hung in there and could have easily won. Great post, and I also still believe and am positive about what we are doing this year.

Playing for 80 still every week…we have been in every game of the year

This team has heart goes a long way from the powder puff efforts of previous years

Can walk away as a Proud Wests Tigers supporter even after a disappointing and frustrating loss like today...can't say that in the recent past...
 
Gee's we've lost 3 games all by 2 points and everyone on here wants the shoot 3/4 of our squad.
If we were getting flogged by 30 points every game I wouldn't blame you guys.
Realistic we are so far in front of where we were last year.
Yes I know it's frustrating, but having players like Packer, Twal, Grub MWZ and ET out would cripple most teams.
Some hard markers here.

Good thread mate. We must be doing something right when we play like trash in attack and still manage to lose by only two points.

Even when things don't click in attack they still dip in and have a go off the ball. That's all I ask.

It’s pretty obvious we all know Cleary has what it takes. I don’t think he has to prove himself.
