Pre-origin comments about Reece Walsh

Apologies if this has already been covered but I saw the ABC's Media Watch on IView only a few days ago.
I am appalled at the comments that had been made leading up to the game, in particular those coming from one of our former greats (and at least one other former player).
If this is the attitude we take going into games (and ultimately end up with eggs on our faces), and if the NRL hasn't seen it proper to step in and condemn them, then we really are living in the past. And before anyone asks, this is not about political correctives, or some "left-wing" whine - this has to do with respect for an individual's dignity.
Hopefully a lesson learned for next game. But I doubt it.

You may have seen.media watch... I'm sure many didn't like me & have no idea what you're taking about.

presumably the irritating self-righteous toff who hosts it was having a sook about people saying Walsh should be targeted, I can imagine that would offend his sensibilities.

Can’t stand when someone says something like “So and so’s comments on 360 just now says it all”. And 9 times out of 10 I’m left thinking “What comments, what did they say?”

Yeah it’s pretty tragic that people can’t compete with the likes of Walsh so their attitude is to bash him out of the game and screw his life up post career.
It’ll be interesting to see where the game ends up. The medico’s aren’t happy with the amount of brain trauma from sports like ours.
People calling for it like this are doing the game zero favours.

Since origin 1 I have noticed he falls backwards while also dropping a bit after passing the ball
I think he needs to remove this habit from his game for his own benefit when going to the line
Not saying it’s okay to hit him high it’s just the same as backing into tackles and dropping your ass you’re putting yourself in danger
