Precious much

If anyone read today's sun herald they would see a tid bit from Widelarr about Sheenius and Potts. "Shiny new sheens"
"The players have serious reservations that he (Potter) is the man to do the job … He lost the players from almost the first day he had the gig. A week after arriving in town, without getting to know the players he began smashing them in pre-season... Then there is the issue of his assistants - they didn't want the chance to work with him beyond this year." Then in relation to Payton "there is a view that Potter considers him a threat"

What is wrong with our club?

Players that are not happy with getting "Smashed" in the pre season can leave. Obviously it has not done anything to them so why are they complaining?

This one is true. Anyone wonder why we started playing old style Sheens tactics the last few weeks. The players are coachig themselves.

We went at Souths through the middle and when they were on the back foot we spread it to the backs. When has that ever been a sheens style tactic? We matched size with size, not a sheens tactic at all.

We've been playing decent the past few weeks due to injuries allowing potter to play the players he wants.

Seems Sheens has a coaching offer on the table.

If he wants it he walks away with nothing but what he is owed to this point.

Watch our board give him a big wad of cash though and then Sheens to announce his return to Canberra the next day

More gutter garbage journalism. I remember Andrew Webster trying to ignite a fire after the Benji McDonald's incident when he wrote a story claiming Benji was acting inappropriate at an airport after an away game the following week. When questioned what he based his story on it turned out it was information emailed to him that he failed to have verified and was not true. But the truth does not stop these clowns writing this crap.

The truth is we needed a kick up the ar$e at the ground level and I don't know anyone who is happy to get one, but if Potter chose to work the players hard he must have seen a need for it. I support Potter for many reasons, but the number one reason is that I have never heard him talk poorly about our players. That is a level of respect and professionalism that some of the players may need to learn!

The crap about Luke Brooks going to the AFL is worse

exactly, he is able to watch list his favorite AFL if he chooses.
He is a lower grade player who has fulfilled his commitment for the day.
His time is his own

Who wrote it? - Phil Rothfield that's who. No negative Sharks publicity from him though..

did i miss something?? 😕

He apparently had a shower and left after the game last Friday night to attend an AFL match, instead of staying and watching first grade.

Yep, storm in a teacup.

Maybe ill advised for a senior player to do, but not a huge deal for an 18 year old NYC player.

Sadly he will need to deal with this sort of scrutiny from now on.

Thought the hawks swans game was in nz.

Our club captain has Liverpool FCs song tattoo'd on his chest. Expect a story saying something about farah soon lol.

Who cares. So Weidler is talking out of his A again. Obviously taken it to heart that the club shoved one up him.

Hasn't it? We had enough players on the sideline at one point to field a whole first grade side. I thought the departing Andrew Leeds was the problem with our rehab and conditioning, but if an inexperienced and overenthusiastic coach burned out his side in preseason it would explain a few things. There's a difference between conditioning and damaging.
