sorry Alien

Tige's will win but it will be close for two reasons - parra ALWAYS seems to have the edge on us and they will feel rightly confident coming into the match plus Hayne loves playing against Benji and two, we ALWAYS struggle against teams we should beat handsomely. WOuld love to see us put 50 on them but that just doesn't seem to be our style!

Would love to see us thrash them but they seem to be our bogey side. They are the last team to beat us this year (Round 18 22-6) and funnily enough we played them in Round 24 last year and who could possibly forget Luke Burt missing a kick from in front which would have sent the game into extra time. We beat them 20-18 then and I'll be happy with the same result this year.

- Ben Smith to make a break down the field, only for Benji Marshall to catch him.
- Luke Burt to attempt at least 10 penalty goals, some from his own half.
- Matt Groat to score a try after hitting and spinning out of five attempted tackles.
- Tim Moltzen to go himself.

:roll

shocker.

I predict we will fade in and out of the first half and pull away in the final 20

I think things are lining up well for us psychologically. There's a chance that three wins from here gets us a home final (albeit possibly one against the Dragons) so motivation must be better than when we were thinking 7th or 8th with no more injuries was as good as it was going to get. Plus the flat performance on Friday will hopefully remind the players that they can't take their eye off the ball even against lesser sides.

On the other side of the ledger I'm not sure how Parra will go. I saw the hammering against Souths coming - they'd lost two or three heartbreakers before that and it must be next to impossible to keep the belief going once you go behind after that. The Manly game was a bit of an odd one: it'll either make them think they're a chance and fire up as a result, or the mentality will be "we're never going to win".

Ideally we'll come out motivated and sharp and they won't be able to live with us whatever performance they put in. For and against can still get us over the Cowboys with three wins including two big ones, so it would be nice to think we'll start the 80 minute performances here.
