Howcome when Galloway got injured in the tackle and lost the ball Souths got a scrum, then when Sutton got injured and dropped the ball in the tackle they got to play-the-ball?

There were many poor calls made by the refs last night, that is another example mate.

And Sutton actually lost possesion before the tackle was complete. We shuld have had a scrum 10 out to win it.

Two refs = double the stuff ups.

Ring refs boss Bill harrigan tomorrow on 2SM…131269
He has more excuses than Uncle Tim.

Because theirs happened in extra time - ours did not.

At the time I felt that Sutton had lost it in the tackle but with the the Souths players blowing up for a non existant penalty the refs overlooked the fact that Sutton was injured prior to losing the ball, it was extra time and the refs were under presuure to either not find a mistake or not award a penalty, Beau made that easy for them in the end!.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw it. Even if the TWO refs missed it the video ref should not have. There were several replays! Another thing, did anyone think Wesser's pass was forward. I watched it 3 times and called it forward before the try was even scored. I know here in Melb I have friends who are AFL supporters who are trying to get into league but laugh at the amount of forward passes that are let go. If were not careful it will end up like the NBA where you can take 10 steps and it not be called "travel" because it looked good. The touch judges need to read their job descriptions.

Even Terry Kennedy and Jimmy Smith from the Big Sports Breakfast said that it was a knock on that was missed. Also both thought the pass was forward and that Farrah deserved a penalty at the end of normal time. Considering Jimmy Smith is a souths supporter it just shows again how duded we are whenever Maxwell referees us.

Putting the above behind us we as a team should have put Souths away. We have been winning recent games but our form is very poor.
