I've recently turned 18 , and was wondering can I take a few mates who are 17 or 16 year olds into a RSl club for example. Just wasn't sure if I would be allowed or not?

In NSW, Minors are only allowed in an area ordinarily set aside for meals and they must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. (You are not a legal guardian)

So the answer would be No…

Exactly what Tiger Watto said. If you're mates are underage, you're mates are underage and not allowed inside the over 18 premises.

I had a similar dilemma when I turned 18, 5 years ago. I was the oldest out of my mates so despite turning 18, I couldn't go to the clubs or anything unless I wanted to go by myself.

Mate you've got your whole life to go out to pubs and clubs with your mates and get drunk. If you have to wait a year or 2 just do it, its nothing compared to the rest of your life. Ahhh the joy and innocence of youth. Gotta love it
