Morning guys,

Grant Mayer was kindly invited by members of the forum to jump on and have a chat and answer some questions from the fans.

We'll look to start answering questions next week - so fire away in this thread.

Obviously he won't be able to spill the beans on everything we want to know but we'll look to answer as many questions as possible.

Specifically what positions we are after?
Good chance you can't disclose names

Also what is the state of the 2nd tier salary cap especially with Miller being released? Will some rookies get dropped to NSW Cup once Lote/Lawrence /Koroibete return like the Moylan situation at Penrith or is there a big buffer still left in the cap.

Thanks

The issue I'd like to raise is about the performance and selection of our coaching staff. Royce Simmons has been with the club since 2003 and in that time our defence has been well below average, with our best defensive efforts and fitness levels coinciding with Steve Folkes time with the team, does anyone at the club question this?
Given the high injury toll in successive years are our strength and conditioning coaches and their techniques being questioned?

Will Mick Potter be given the opportunity to select his own coaching staff?

Beat me to it x3

I'd like to see more flexible ticket prices introduced. It's something done in European football where you pay a price basically depending on the demand and popularity of opponent. Say you may charge your $30 GA v Roosters at Aussie, however against Souths at LO it could increase to $35 GA. On the flipside a game against the Titans at CS may only cost $15 GA. I have no idea if it's possible to structure ticket prices like that for a season though??
I've been pleased to see the recent offerings at CS, trying to attract the fans in to the stadium out there. I think you guys are definitely on the right path now.

number one question on my list as well.

also is potter looking at players in the super leaque.

Thanks for the opportunity.

I don't expect you to answer any specific questions as to who you may or may not wish to recruit or retain as I know you have many legal factors, privacy considerations and human factors to take into account.

I would like to say, however, that I would like to see form taken into account quite a bit more. While loyalty is a crucial factor in team spirit and one swallow does not make a summer (both in terms of good and bad form), it seems to many that some players keep their first grade position without seeming to deserve it.

This in turn leads to what some consider complacency within the squad, and creates a seeming culture of 'if you're in the club, you're in club' and that you are untouchable. The ramification of this is that younger or other in-form players may not feel they have an opportunity and so seek to leave the club.

I sincerely hope that this is not the case at the Tigers. Thank you for letting me express a concern.

Q1: How are the Wests Tigers travelling in relation to Revenue $'s compared to other Sydney Clubs? It was mentioned 18-24 months ago we have one of the richest jerseys in the competition, but there is also lots of talk about the club struggling financially.

Q2: What are the costs to the club that the Wests Tigers need to pay to play games at Campbelltown. Ground Hire, Insurances & On-Costs etc?

Q3: The Wests Tigers appear to have the longest recovery periods compared to other clubs in the NRL. You have been involved at a few clubs now, so are our injuries simply that bad, or do we need to spend more money in this area to see an improvement?

Q1\. What is the future of games being played at LO & CSS. What is the clubs path in regards to stadia with the nrl and state government.

Q2\. Will Mick Potter have full control in selecting his own support staff. Example assistant coaches, defence coaches, physio and strength and conditioning.

Q3\. How will the board be structured with the development of Campbelltown pulling out at the senior level.
