You will never know how much impact you had on the world.

Is it possible for the thread title to have R.I.P inserted please.

Done and I think he would have..

A Legend that will never be surpassed, what he had to endure by being a conscientious objector made him more of a hero in my eyes, stripped of his title and publicly vilified etc etc.
For those who listen to the Saturday Night Juke Box programs I know of 2 songs written about Ali, there are probably more but the one's that come to mind are by Johnny Wakelin & the Kinshasa Band from the mid 70's, "Black Superman" & "In Zaire".
Livestream to 2MCE-FM on 92.3 for one of the better request programs.

R.I.P
Was the greatest boxer of all time there is no doubt. Preferred Frazier myself because he never showboated over fallen opponents or played any race card.
As far as Ali's refusal to go to Vietnam….he stood by his values. But plenty of other brave men went in his place and fought like absolute warriors, bled and died for a cause that plenty of them were not certain of but they went anyway. I hope Ali had the utmost respect for those men who did go- most not by choice, who in many ways gave him the freedom and opportunity to make a living out of sport instead of perishing on some far away battlefield.
