You should get the Jets as they normally lapse after a big win.

The fact that Moors & Fifita got you over the line this week is a concern though but I think the Pies will get up

If Moors and Fafita arn't playing then Skando and Stolk will be. Both players who fire up at Campbelltown.

No doubt they will fire up but they are unfortunatley not in the class of the aforementioned.

Would be nice if they won though as I really hate the Bluebags

They wouldn't play that bloody Newtown song at Ctown would they?

Wests Team v Bluebags….

From all reports Pritchard can play at 6 though which is fortunate for them. Tough game for them but hopefully they're up for it.

Pritchard and Keppa have swapped between fullback and 5/8 for the past two games. I'm expecting Waters to come into the team which will mean a reshuffle. Skando might also play unless one of the NRL forwards drops back.

Hopefully the halves this week use the outside runners more often this week. Davis and Akeripa need to be fed more out wide!

In what appears to be the match of the round on paper, the Western Suburbs Magpies will play host to the inform Newtown Jets. After somewhat of an inconsistent start to their 2010 campaign, the Jets seem to have finally found their feet and as a result come into this one on the back of a four game winning streak. In contrast the Magpies have probably gone the other way a little bit, having lost two of their last three and they required some late Junior Moors magic against the Vulcans last week to get out of jail.

Clearly the depth at the Jets is strong at present and this allows them to field quality NRL talent like Aiden Guerra, James Aubusson and Martin Kennedy. The Magpies own depth has been tested and once again they will field an experimental halves pairing with Rhys Pritchard taking his turn in the number six jersey.

The last time these sides met they played out an enthralling 18 all draw at Henson Park. No doubt the Magpies will feel that was one that got away from them as they scored four tries to three but some wayward goal kicking proved costly in the end. They will also be happy that Kane Linnett is not named to play following his recent elevation to the NRL, as Linnett scored all three of Newtown’s tries that day. Newtown has slightly the best of the attacking statistics however that is tempered by Wests dominance in the defensive columns. Nothing could separate these two sides last time they met and if conditions are kind in Campbelltown on Saturday afternoon, this has the potential to be one of the matches of the year.

Seeing Newtown had dibs on C'town until the magpies swooped and took it, it'd be fitting.

I'm not happy that you gave Newtown a capital N and the Magpies a small m. If the Magpies didn't take Campbelltown and Newtown did I would have been a Jet! :eek:pen_mouth:

Sadly Wests went down to Newtown 16-18.By the facebook description we could have won it.Wests now slip further down the ladder…..
