Its mainly new posters either with an agenda, or looking for a place to vent - once we string a few wins together it goes away. It always does.

We will turn it around, we lost by 4 to the premiers, we played average against sharks & poor against the dragons, but we've always been average at the start of the season.
We've still got a long season ahead & we will finish strong with a premiership

Criticizing the team after a loss does not mean you're not a 'true supporter'. Especially when we are 1/3 with -27 FA after 3 rounds. I'm not saying our season is over or anything like that, but anyone who thinks we are doing well is delusional.
I think a real supporter on this forum is someone who is realistic. They are not negative ond overly critical but have the courage (and intelligence) to voice sound reasonable opinions based on fact. Let's face it, the Tigers while you love them, they can totally frustrate you at times but as a supporter you take the good with the bad.
I must admit some of the posts on this forum make me wonder about our supporter base at times…..

This 'true supporter' garbage gets old real fast. Showing emotion does not make you any less of a supporter then someone who doesn't. Its only human nature to vent out of frustration. People don't deserve to have the love for their team questioned just because they aren't light and fluffy and say 'better luck next time boys' or 'I still love my team no matter what'. Well duh of course you do, thats the passion that comes along with supporting a footy team

I think real/true supporters dont feel the need to broadcast that they are….
Im pretty vocal against some of the usual negative posters here but in all honesty, I really dont mind negative posts as long as they are constructive. I get annoyed when people say "player A is a waste of money and space" and they leave it at that. How about adding a reason why instead of being a sheep and follow other negative posters because the team lost. I also get frustrated with people who follow hysteria generated by newspapers and other media outlets who clearly have agendas against this club.

Sporting Teams the world over attract crititism from thier fans… From U8's to the Elite.
Its based on Passion and if you have an opinion (positive/negative) because you care about something, you are 'real' supporter!

46 years supporting balmain and now our team wests tigers , im not sure what people expect from a true supporter , going to the games , buying things in our colours , giving it to your mates when we beat their team , talking our team up when we win and also , giving a bit of stick to our team when they are just not firing at a time in the season , most are right , when we win all the crap will disapear but if you are going to give some stick make sure its not crap

As judges of our football team, we all can see the good and the bad, week to week. We don't know the players personally, we don't know what is said/done behind the scenes. We ride the highs and lows. And we make the appropriate assessment with where where at. Speaking up makes your a supporter. Keeping quiet ( with some people I know) is band wagoning. Anyone should be able to express their emotions.
Many bloggers are currently criticizing others, saying where only traveling bad due to injuries, suspensions. I'm saying we never had the depth this year. Sheens should have seen this.

I don't really have a problem with negative posts but as long as they are constructive and realistically are built to be positive and best for the team…..eg. Fans calling for moltz head( that's fine if we have a better option and they can point out why miller or chisolm should get the 7 rather then just based on dislike for
Moltz)

I guess everyone has different personality's…. i for one don't get on here and bag the team or the coach and club etc....but i don't think im any better supporter for it...that's just me i dont like to kick people when they down...i stick rock solid...each to their own.And im very conscious of not been a hypocrite
The same old sack sheens threads have done there dash surely...it should just get deleted after all how many times have we seen a thread about it.
