This is a question for anyone that heard or went to the trial games so far this pre season…
Have the extra touch judges been involved in the trial games and have the new rules been put into play as well ??....

Haven't heard anything and I was curious to see how much they affect play...

Lots of penalties in the Warriors Panthers trial I saw on TV

Big cock up at the end - minute or so to go- of the charity shield at 12-12 with a touchie ruling a forward pass that wasnt, givng saints one last chance at a win they shouldnt have had…doubt we'll see 4 touchies for long

I think as JT alluded to, and we seen with the roosters the past few years, teams will prefer to concede a penalty and another set - back their D - rather than allow a quick playn the ball which can be a snowball effect in momentum for the attacking side.

Each year its the same we get new bloody rules/interpretations, the players either flout them or take time to come to grips with them, the fans are confused and unsure…commentators no help either
