Unlike others on here, I don't profess to know the dollar amounts. The bloke himself said the Tigers looked after him and made him a good offer - which to mean indicates market value. The Cowboys on the other hand desperately need a decent No.1, and are prepared to pay a little extra than market value. If Bowen was fit, they would not have offered Gallant a contract. Whether or not the Cowboys actually paid market value or overs remains to be seen - depending on his future form. Regardless, it seems the days of us paying 'overs' for good prospects are over. IMO - correct decision made - WELL DONE ALL CONCERNED AT TIGERS RETENTION AND RECRUITMENT…........ :wahoo:
