Just read on the passing of Des Drummond . Powerful English winger for played for the Magpies in the mid 80’s.
Bit of a crowd favourite at Lidcombe Oval.
Only 63 years old.

I saw Des score the late winning try against against Manly in the mid 80's at an away game at Brookvale Oval.
Can still hear the Manly fans moans.
