RLW - Farah Shock: Why I almost quit the Tigers

A friend linked me to the cover of the latest edition of RLW after he noticed the story on Farah. Does anyone know if there is much to this story? Or is just some filler about how he wanted to leave us just so he could go and play for Liverpool FC?

Sorry if this has already been on the forum. I searched and nothing came up.

I read most of it, he had decided to sign for the Titans in 2008 as the Tigers were going backwards, but then he changed his mind and decided to stay.

He stayed!
NEXT article!
Robbie needs to come out of the blocks hard vs the Eels.
Dictate play and explode into NSW contention again.
:stuck_out_tongue:
The perfect captain for this side.
:righton:

It's old news and is a rehash of an earlier story when Farah was deciding between the Titans and Tigers. Nothing in it. He's happy at the Tigers and the direction they are heading in.

The most interesting espect of the article for me is that he told Wests Tigers management that if he stayed it would be for life.

I do not recall the original story so for me it is not a rehash.
I find what everyone has said here thus far to be interesting and intriguing

The fact he felt the Tigers were going backwards has to be of some concern.

No prizes for guessing which position worried him the most,Sheens and his pig headedness. :imp:

It sounds like one of those "feel good" PR stories. We were going backwards so I almost quit but now we are heading in the right direction and I am happy.

Not much in it if you ask me.

Has to lead from the front IMO and tonight is the perfect platform to prove that. I love him to bits but he really needs to fire the team up, keep their heads up whenthey conceed.

Funny in 2010 it has been Robbie going backwards thus far.

A few weeks of form reversal is always just around the corner though

Well let's hope so. He's been fairly quiet so far.
