Hi everyone Good story about Matt Utai in this weeks RLW Something interesting to read which I did not know that Utai was going to become a Tiger in 2010 but because of the transfer fee that the Celtic Crusaders placed on him they left in to this year . Also the story delves into the 2004 dogs Gf win and how many players are left Just 1 Andrew Ryan . Aren't we lucky that even though we won our premiership only the following year that we still have so many survivors from that magnificent 2005 win .

That Dogs team was much more experienced than ours. They were over the salary cap a few years earlier so they were always going to break-up.

Utai has been pretty good for us. He gets heavily involved making strong meters and is yet to get exposed in the air.

Utai really surprised me. When the Tigers signed him I thought it would be to play state cup and be called on occasionally for first grade. He has really taken the opportunity he's been given and with so many injuries in the club, it has turned out to be a great signing!

Yeah he has consistently been great, just like McKinnon.

I did not expect to rate either of them, but they have both impressed.

Been really impressed by Utai. He appears to be very committed to the team, and to his own personal development, both on and off the field. Just the sort of player Sheens likes - glad we signed him
