STAR North Queensland signing Robert Lui has suffered a potentially serious knee injury at training this morning.
Lui will been sent for scans tomorrow after going down in an opposed contact drill.

While management are confident the youngster, who joined the club this year after being released by the Wests Tigers, has not suffered a season-ending ACL tear, he is still likely to spend a substantial period on the sidelines.

Lui is locked in a battle with best mate Ray Thompson for the North Queensland halfback spot to partner Johnathan Thurston, who will switch to five-eighth this year

I reckon you will be able to play a drinking game for everytime the word 'karma' is used in this thread

is it bad that im kinda a little happy about this? 😕

Lol yeah i took a reputation hit lol… oh well... I guess Im just dirty at how he left us, that we gave him his opportunity and he couldnt learn from his mistakes and it dragged the Tiger's name through the media for bad reasons again after the club had done soooooooooo well the past few years keeping out of the bad headlines.

   Maybe!

Doesn't really concern me. He's no longer our problem and despite his past, I can't see wishing ill on him would make it any better.

Cant win a trick at the moment poor young Rob…I dont wish him ill will, I save those feelings for Scotty Prince.

Not sure what happened to the old 'innocent till proven guilty'. Lui hasn't been proven guilty, therefore doesn't deserve taunts of 'karma' based on issues that are unproven in his personal life

He made public admissions, whether found to be illegal is irrelevant , his self admitted behaviors are abhorrent

The fact I don't like him has nothing to do with his alleged off field actions. I just failed to see what many others here did see and that was some kind of talent. If anything, I thought he was a handbrake or a release valve to our style of play.

I hope he is fully fit when we play the Cows.
