Just wondering who do you reckon has been the best newcomer this year.

Myself, I like Jesse Sue….great attitude, works hard without fuss.
Seemed to have come into the side with no fanfare and took his chance by the gonads

Nofo! Needed a try scorer out wide and he came in and has been amazing. Also agree with sue, them 2 have been awesome. Would've loved to seen koro go but injuries have stopped his year.

Since Nofo entered the side we have only won when he has scored…good stat read it on twitter. Need to give him more ball!

nofo has not put a wrong step since he's been in first grade. showed more than that "origin wingers" mcmanus, willliams or merrit.

he's still eligibible for nyc right?

Playing prop in the NRL is far harder job than playing wing

Buchanan and Sue are the standouts along with Ava

Not necessarily. NRL kicking game > NYC kicking game and NRL wingers are usually better leapers.

Nofa and Sue for me

Buchanan has done a very tough job all this season. He would be a very worthy winner but I think he'll get pipped by Sue or Nofo.

Ava hasn't been quite as strong as the other 2 forwards. Looking solid, but not making any giant strides yet. And he's only played a few games with less asked of him than, Sue and Buchanan espeically.

Tedesco is a rookie in my eyes, but hasn't been amazing. Pretty good, but not quite living up to the hype which is perfectly understandable given he is coming off a KNEE RECON. He said after the storm game he was still recovering from that as well as some other niggling injuries. Turf toe maybe. I expect to see some far better stuff either after the bye or else next year. Not sure about the extent of his injuries nor what an ACL tear is like.

Actually I think there's some rule about if you play less then 5 games or something youre still a rookie? although i read that on some youtube video so it's just as likely to be BS.

It's very close between Nofo and Sue! A winger and a 2RF…. Both have blasted right out of the blocks and taken their opportunity head on in their respective positions! What separates them though is their attitude and work ethic on and off the field...... So for me its Jesse Sue all the way!!
